
Patricia Martinez de Runner; citizen of Mexico, established Kino Bay Real Estate, the first permanent Real Estate company in Kino Bay Sonora in 1989. She has worked closely with Realtors in Mexico and in Arizona.
She is a graduate of the Technologic Institute, with a graduate degree in business administration. She was awarded the Licencia in .”Business Administration Tourism”, by the Mexican Federal Government. She studied English as a second language at the University of Arizona.
In April 2002 the State of Sonora approved the new Real Estate Law, wich terminates years of empiric /self/ training/learning and establish a Real Estate “Diplomado”, with 110 hours of the most important topics related with Real Estate in Sonora. Patty Runner is one of the first group to take the course and became the first certified realtor in Kino Bay in June 2003.
Looking into new horizons and challenges Patty Runner, during the spring of 2007 acquired the franchise of REMAX for Kino Bay and the team was born...RE/MAX Kino Bay Real Estate RE/MAX the largest Real Estate organization in the world with more than 5 thousand Brokers in 52 countries, and number one in sales worldwide was now in Kino Bay.!!!!!!
In June 2008 Patty Runner became the first Realtor in Kino Bay to receive her Real Estate License.
Patty Runner also belongs to AMPI: Asociacion Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios- Mexican Real Estate Association, with 3000 active members nation wide offers a wide variety of events throughout the year; Real Estate conferences; Sonora-Arizona Real Estate Conference; Real Estate forums, Sonora-Arizona Commission annual meeting; AMPI annual convention; seminars; schooling, etc. Its goal is to create a close working relationship between the government and the Real Estate private sector; provide professional training to its members, and reward those who have participated in the Real Estate activity.
NAR: National Association of Realtors of the United States, has been the liason between Mexican and American Realtors for the past decade and during the 50th. anniversary of AMPI in a grand ceremony in Mexico City October 2006, AMPI, Asociacion Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios: Mexican Real Estate Association and NAR signed an agreement: all members of AMPI became guest members of NAR. Their goal: exchange of knowledge, ideas, listings and referral fees.
